Who are we?
Shaping Horizons is youth-led organisation and movement. Our vision is to upskill and empower every young person to be part of the change in the world that they want to see.
We have received support and the trust of several highly respected organisations, like global activist networks and movements (Global Shapers, One Young World, Unleash and Sandbox) and multilateral and governmental organisations (University of Cambridge, UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Argentine Embassy to the UK, UNV, United Nations Development Programme, British Foreign Policy Group and Science Advice for Policy by European Academies), as well as innovation leading organisations like Ashoka
Our goal in working with partners is to develop a collaborative ecosystem to drive change and bearing in mind principles of solidarity, belief in youth social innovation and the power of diversity to drive change.
We also work with corporate partners to develop youth social innovation programmes using our research-inspired innovation tools while upskilling their employees, giving them access to engaging with the youth and igniting early-stage investable solutions.
"Finding solutions to the biggest challenges faced by our societies requires that we work across the borders of nations and disciplines. It also requires that we create spaces for younger voices – the leaders of tomorrow."
Prof. Stephen Toope
Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge
